- Butter and flour a 1 quart Kugelhopf Bundt pan, shake out excess flour.
1. In a bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, lemon beebrush and lemon zest.
2. In another bowl with an electric mixer beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
4. Beat in vanilla.
5. Add half of flour mixture and blend to incorporate.
6. Beat in milk and lemon juice and remaining flour mixture until just combined.
7. Spoon batter into the bundt pan, smoothing top.
8. Bake in the middle of a preheated 325°F oven 45 to 55 minutes, or until golden brown.
9. Insert a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, the Kugelhopf is done.
10. Cool cake in pan on a rack for 15 minutes and invert into rack to cool completely.
11. For the Lemon Glaze: In small bowl whisk confectioners sugar into the lemon juice until smooth and thick.
12. When the cake is completely cooled, drizzle glaze over cake and let it drip down sides.
13. Serve cake at room temperature with sliced strawberries.
