- Grease and flour a bread pan or loaf pan. Be sure to shake off excess flour.
- Chop the walnuts, set aside.
1. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
2. In another bowl, cream the butter with sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add lemon rind, chopped Anise Hyssop flowers and eggs.
4. Beat the mixture just until thoroughly combined.
5. Stir in lemon juice.
6. Gradually mix in dry ingredients and chopped nuts, mixing until blended.
7. Spoon into prepared pan and bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 50 to 55 minutes.
8. Cool on a rack.
