Anise Hyssop Drop Cookies

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Anise Hyssop » flowers; chopped
3 large Eggs
1 cup Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
2 cups Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
Prep Time Process Time Overall Time
15 Minutes 15 Minutes 30 minutes
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325°F / 160°C / Gas Mark 3

1. Beat eggs until thick and pale yellow in colour.

2. Add sugar and flower petals and beat 5 minutes.

3. Add vanilla.

4. Add flour, baking powder and salt to egg mixture.

5. Continue beating 5 minutes more.

6. Drop batter by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets, spacing well apart.

7. Bake in the preheated oven at 325°F for 12 to 15 minutes.
