1. Combine sugar and corn syrup in a 2 quart pan over medium heat.
2. Heat until sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes, stirring to ensure the sugar doesn't burn.
3. When sugar has dissolved, remove from heat and add vodka, stir well.
4. Cover tightly with a lid. Let cool.
5. Add peppermint extract to mixture and pour into a sealable bottle.
6. Be sure to label and date your bottle.
