Maple Coffee Ice Cream

Ingredients:

1 cup Coffee
1 cup Maple Syrup
1/4 teaspoon Salt
2 large Eggs » slightly beaten
1 cup Evaporated Milk » whipped
Prep Time Process Time Overall Time
30 Minutes 3 Hours 30 Minutes 4 hours
Directions:

1. Combine coffee, maple syrup, and salt in a heat proof bowl.

2. On medium heat, cook over a pot of hot water for 5 minutes.

3. Remove from the stove.

4. Pour over slightly beaten eggs, stirring constantly.

5. Return to heat and cook until mixture coats the back of a spoon.

6. Cool.

7. Pour into ice-cream freezer or into tray. Partially freeze.

8. Carefully fold in stiffly whipped evaporated milk.

9. Return to the freezer and continue freezing until firm.
