1. Mix together cocoa powder, sugar, cornstarch and salt in small saucepan.
2. Whisk in light corn syrup and milk and bring to a boiling.
3. Reduce heat and simmer, whisking constantly, for about 2 minutes until thick.
4. Remove from heat.
5. Whisk in vanilla.
6. Cool to room temperature.
7. Delicious when served over Meringue Hearts.
