1 part Cornstarch

Directions:

1. Mix 1 part baking soda to 2 parts cream of tartar.

2. The amounts will depend on how much baking powder you need for your recipe.

3. This recipe is for immediate use.

4. If you want to mix ahead of time for future use; add 1 part cornstarch.

5. The cornstarch will help keep the other ingredients from absorbing moisture.

6. With cornstarch added, the baking powder will keep in a cool dark cupboard for up to 1 month.
